Job Description:
Longstanding, successful Denver agency has an opening for an experienced Senior Account Manager. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing projects for multiple clients of varying sizes. The qualified candidate will develop extensive knowledge on each client's competitors, market position and business objectives. The Senior Account Manager will help build overall marketing strategy and compose strategy documents to provide direction for the creative team. In addition, the chosen candidate will be responsible for client budget creation and maintenance and oversee billing on specific accounts. The Senior Account Manager will be the primary contact for assigned clients and conduct day-to-day client interaction. Agency climate is creative and fun, as well as hardworking and professional. Only candidates with prior experience writing and executing marketing strategy will be considered.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in related field
7+ years agency experience
Strong organizational skills
Highly developed business writing skills
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to multitask, problem solve and react quickly in deadline situations
Professional and polished presentation skills
Willingness to travel regularly
Strong computer skills, including MS Office with emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including internal staff interaction
Leadership and inspirational abilities in a team environment
Developed research capabilities
Experience working with media team, general understanding of media buying and planning
Ability to identify and perform job functions with little or no supervision
Availability to work overtime when required
